Activities of the day:


A healthy body includes strong mental health and a positive mood. Wind down the week and ease into the weekend with a yoga session provided by our very own Scottsdale colleague, Carmen Vega. For the “never-done-it-before” colleagues or the yogis, this class is intended for all experience levels to quiet the noise and instill a sense of calm to get you through the day.
Location: Grand Canyon Training Room
Time: 8:45am – 9:45am (limited to 30 people due to space capacity)

Largo, Orlando, Boston and Remote Colleagues:

Look for something positive each day, even if some days you have to look a little harder. Clear your mind and quiet the mental noise by sitting in silence for a few minutes, writing in a journal, going to a yoga class or finding a free yoga session on YouTube. It’s important to take time out of the day to collect your thoughts, recalibrate, and refresh. You will not only feel better physically, but you’ll feel better mentally and emotionally. Take a picture of you doing an activity that allows you to gather your mental headspace, and post it on our social media sites (Facebook, Twitter). #MatrixWellness

Mental well-being is defined as a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to contribute to their community.
