Scottsdale:

Get a jump on your day! Log those steps and walk with us on the Scottsdale Green Belt. From 9:00am to 11:00am, we’ll have water waiting for you at the end of the one mile walk (two miles round trip) and raffle tickets for prizes that will be announced later in the day. Grab a couple of colleagues, lace up your shoes, and follow the mile markers !
Location: Refer to this map (follow the coned mile markers)
Time: 9:00am – 11:00am (water and raffle tickets for prizes); otherwise, you may walk whenever you choose!

Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body; it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. Go for a walk, play with your kids or pets, break a sweat at the gym, or play a sport! Post a photo of your physical activity on our social media sites (Facebook, Twitter) and use the hashtag #MatrixWellness.

Physical Wellness:

Physical wellness promotes the proper care of our bodies for optimal health and encourages the balance of physical activity, nutrition and mental well-being to keep the body in top condition. Being physically active is crucial to strengthening bones and muscles, reducing risk of disease and stroke, and having more energy. Likewise, filling yourself with a variety of nutrients and vitamins will not only help prevent illness, but will also keep your body functioning at its best. In addition, consistent physical activity and proper nutrition are keys to improving your overall mental wellness.
